1898 Public House - A place where everyone is welcome!
One of the very first things that I tell people when talking to them about 1898 is that I promise once they visit they'll return time and time again. Our very first visit to 1898 was on New Year's Day. We decided to start the new year off by having brunch because like Paris brunch is always a good idea. We instantly felt welcomed and comfortable as we were seated. We were giddy as we poured over the menu choices and got more and more excited as we waited for our food to arrive, then it did and we were instantly in love with this restaurant. We have since been back numerous times and every visit we are impressed with the heart for hospitality that makes us feel right at home and the delicious and always enjoyable dining experiences we have. I have even recently started to joke that 1898 is my home away from home.
Whether you are looking to go out for brunch, happy hour, dinner or a special occasion this is the restaurant that will welcome you in, serve you a delicious meal which will leave you with a full tummy and a smile on your face. 1898 just celebrated their 1 year anniversary on April 22nd and they are quickly making their mark on the food scene in Spokane and the greater area. The magic and food genuis is led by the highly talented Executive Chef Tyler Schwenk.
